Trust & security
How we protect your information
We treat your health information as what it is: some of the most sensitive data you will ever share with anyone. This page describes exactly what we do β not badges, not slogans. Every statement below is true today and we will show you the evidence if you ask.
Your data stays in Europe
Our database is hosted in the European Union (Ireland). Your health information is not stored outside the EU.
Our practitioners have no passwords to steal
Clinicians sign in with a one-time code sent to their professional address. There is no password anywhere in the system β none is created, stored, or reset β so there is none to be phished or leaked.
Nobody can register themselves as a practitioner. Accounts are created by the clinic, and a practitioner's registration number is checked before their profile can carry a verification mark.
No AI publishes medical advice here. Ever.
Our assistant helps a doctor draft. It does not diagnose, and it cannot publish anything by itself.
Anything clinical on this site is written and signed by a named, INAMI-registered practitioner. Nothing is published anonymously, and no AI can publish on its own.
Where two other clinicians have independently checked a piece of guidance, we name them on it. That is the strongest thing we can show you, and we only show it when it is true. Nobody may review their own work.
Our assistant is held to the stricter level: it will only ever repeat guidance that two independent clinicians have reviewed. This is not a policy we promise to follow β it is enforced by our database, with no administrative override. We tested it by trying to break it with the highest level of access that exists in our system. It refused.
We show you who wrote it, and who checked it
Every clinical item we publish carries the name of the doctor who wrote it, the names of the colleagues who reviewed it, the date it was reviewed, and a rating of how strong the underlying evidence is. Where an AI helped draft it, we say so plainly.
If you cannot see who stands behind a piece of medical advice, you should not trust it. That applies to us too.
Your medical record is kept apart from all of this
Patient records are held in a separate, isolated part of our systems. They are not reachable from this website, and they are not accessible to anyone browsing it.
Our practitioners' own contact details are not accessible to visitors either.
Your rights over your data
We are a Belgian healthcare provider. We process health data under the GDPR and the Belgian Act on Patient Rights. You may:
- βAsk us what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- βAsk us to correct anything that is wrong
- βAsk us to delete data we no longer have a legal reason to keep
- βAsk us to send your data to another provider
- βObject to a particular use of your data
- βComplain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority
What we deliberately do not claim
You will not find a compliance badge on this page. Certifications are attested by auditors and data protection officers against documented evidence β they are not something a website can award itself, and a logo tells you nothing about how a system actually behaves. We would rather describe precisely what we do and let you hold us to it.
Ask us anything about your data
A real person will answer. If you want to see, correct or delete your data, or you simply want to understand what we hold, write to us.
