Dr. Glenn Van Langenhove is one of Belgium's most experienced interventional cardiologists, graduating with distinction from Ghent State University in 1991 and completing a PhD in Electromechanical Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1999. He spent over a decade (2003–2015) as a full-time interventional cardiologist at Middelheim Hospital in Antwerp, participated in major international cardiology congresses (TCT, ICI, CSI, IDSS) as faculty and speaker, and is the inventor of a novel stent-based technology for pulmonary vein isolation in atrial fibrillation. He currently combines active clinical cardiology at CHR Haute Senne with the role of CEO at Fulgur Medical, a Belgian medical device innovation company. At Clinique de la Brisée he holds fortnightly Tuesday evening consultations for the clinic's international and expatriate patient population.
